new beginnings

I've decided that I need a blog completely unrelated to my interests *cough*Arashi*cough* and just post things in my life that make happy, sad, and everything in between. I just need a place where I can write about ongoing things in my life, and my own shortcomings. Because really, I have nobody that I can talk to about things like that. I would rather just write what's on my mind in a blog and have people who are interested in what I have to say read it, rather than force unto someone my thoughts and feelings.

So I guess my first subject in my new blog will be quotes. I love quotes because it gives you a view into different ideas, and sometimes you can relate to them. From that, you can take different quotes and incorporate them into your own beliefs, and from that, define who you are. To be a compilation of different people; it's unoriginal, but unique.
Anyways, I found this quote today:

"I love people. Everybody. I love them, I think, as a stamp collector loves his collection. Every story, every incident, every bit of conversation is raw material for me. My love’s not impersonal yet not wholly subjective either. I would like to be everyone, a cripple, a dying man, a whore, and then come back to write about my thoughts, my emotions, as that person. But I am not omniscient. I have to live my life, and it is the only one I’ll ever have. And you cannot regard your own life with objective curiosity all the time."
- The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath

I should get out of my shell more, I think.
